New! Hybrid Fiction Book Club

We’re starting a brand new Fiction Book Club for adults! Our next meeting will be Monday, May 1 at 6:30pm, discussing the book Hester by Laurie Lico Albanese. Copies of the book will be available at the main desk starting in early April. Join us in the Library Meeting Room or over Zoom. Contact Christine Muir for more information. Wednesday Afternoon Book Group

This fiction and nonfiction book group meets on the last Wednesday of the month, from 1:30pm to 2:30pm in the Fireplace Room.  New members are always welcome. Copies of the title to be discussed will be available at the Circulation Desk a month prior to each meeting.

Non-Fiction Book Club

This book group meets virtually on the first Wednesday of the month, from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. New members are always welcome. Copies of the title to be discussed will be available at the Circulation Desk a month prior to each meeting.

LGBTQ+ Virtual Book Club

We are partnering with the Ashland Public Library and the Peabody Institute Library to bring you this book club for the LGBTQ+ community and allies. If you are between the ages of 15-100 years old and would like to chat about books that celebrate LGBTQ+ lives, and to use books as a springboard to discuss the challenges, we hope you can join us. This book club will be facilitated by librarians from the LGBTQ+ community.

Meetings are on the fourth Monday of each month, from 7:00-8:00pm. over Zoom. Please visit our Events Calendar to find out what book we’re reading this month and sign up for the Zoom link. The Events Calendar will also have the most up-to-date information about meeting dates, which are sometimes shifted by a week to accommodate holidays and the programming schedules of all three libraries. Read With Me Book Club

This family book club for kids in grades 3-7 and their caregiver will have kids and caregivers reading the same book and then meeting to discuss it on a Wednesday each month from 6:00-7:00pm. All children must attend with an adult and all adults must attend with a child. Space for this book club is limited, so please sign up for each meeting on our Events Calendar. Connie’s Book Club

Connie’s Book Club meets the first Tuesday of each month in the Old Library at 6:30pm. The book club choices are general fiction. New members are always welcome. To contact Connie, you can email her or call (978-821-9648).

Personal Growth Book Club

This book club encourages the growth and development of each person by reading books that inspire a new mindset and new ideas to work on yourself and promote a new, healthier lifestyle. Senior Center Book Club

Join other senior bibliophiles at the Senior Center’s monthly Book Club discussion on the second Thursday of the month at 11:00am. Copies of each month’s book will be available at the Dracut Library. PLEASE NOTE: the discussion takes place at the Senior Center, 951 Mammoth Road, Dracut. Open to all. Call the Senior Center at 978-957-2611 for more information.
