Early Literacy

Early Literacy Skills:

Check out the infographic for information on the early literacy skills your child needs for future reading success.

Our library storytimes reflect these skills, but we know there is a lot to learn! Check back in September for our very first Dracut Library early literacy calendar, filled with different ideas to strengthen these skills throughout the month. For now, check out the “further resources” section for more information on these skills, and for some fun ideas to help your child build a foundation for reading.
