Centennial Anniversary Celebration

  • Centennial Anniversary Celebration

In 1922, the sister of Moses Greeley Parker donated land and money to build a new library for the town of Dracut. The library opened to the community in November 1923. In celebration of the 100th anniversary, we are planning a series of events through November 2023, including the following:

Dr. Rebecca Duda presents Notable Locals: Watch the Recording

Richard Howe presents Dr. Moses Greely Parker’s Life and Legacy – a hybrid event

Trivia Night

Town-wide Scavenger Hunt

Art/Photograph Exhibit

Oral History Project

Birthday Party (with cake!)

We are looking for people to contribute photos (that we can scan to reprint so the originals will be returned to you) and oral histories. Please email Christine Muir at cmuir@dracutlibrary.org if you are interested or able to help us.

Stay tuned for more details as plans are finalized. Sign up for our monthly newsletter and follow us on social media for all the details!
