Plant a Seed, Read during our 2026 Summer Reading Challenge!

Plant the seeds of knowledge, growth, and fun this summer by reading at the library!
This summer, tweens and teens entering grades 6-12 in the fall can track the books they read to be entered into raffles for prizes. The Young Adult Department is also holding a Farm & Garden Photography Contest and a Short Story & Poetry Contest, each with their own prizes.
Reading can be logged in the Beanstack Tracker app/website or with a paper log. Paper logs will be available at the library starting the week of June 22nd.

We also have crafts to decorate your garden and fun activities – seed-related and otherwise – planned throughout the summer. Check them out in our Teen Summer Reading Programs Guide or on our Events Calendar. Our first event is our Summer Reading Kickoff Party on Wednesday, June 24th, 4:00pm-7:00pm! Drop by for fun activities, cool treats, a seed bomb craft station, and help getting started logging your reading and registering for events!
