The Friends of Dracut Library run an Annual Book Sale each May. The sale has become a notable community event, promoting literacy by getting affordable books into homes. Donations for the sale are accepted for a period directly before the sale. Watch here for an announcement regarding donations.
The Friends also run a Book Nook, open year-round whenever the library is open, on the first floor of the library. The Nook sells previously owned books at affordable prices. The Nook is open to the general public.
Other book sales from the Friends include small events throughout the year and weekly sales online on the Friends of the Dracut Library Market Facebook page.
