Phase 3 of the
Library’s Reopening Plan

 

In conjunction with the Board of Library Trustees, the Town Manager, and the local Board of Health, the Dracut Library will begin expanding its services on August 3rd.  Most notably, the second floor will be open.  Computer use will be available by appointment only.

Computer sessions will begin on the hour and will last for 45 minutes, with 15 minutes in between sessions for sanitizing.  In order to social distance, we will only have four computer stations open, three in reference and one in the YA section.  Patrons will only be allowed to reserve only one session per day.

Reservations may be made up to one day in advance. To make a reservation, please call the Reference Desk at 978-454-5474, extension 303. Please have your library barcode available when you call.

Printing will be available from the public computers. The copy machine will be available for printing and scanning.  Patrons must provide their own USB drive for scanning. Please have exact change as the staff is unable to handle money or provide change.

Only 30 people (including staff) will be allowed in the building at any given time. We ask that you limit your visit to no more than 30 minutes.

All patrons and staff must sanitize their hands when entering the building, and wear masks at all times (with the exception of those staff members in their offices). Social distancing must be observed at all times.

The Children’s Room, our Meeting Room, Quiet Study Rooms, and Public Bathrooms will all remain closed.  Patrons wishing to check out items from the Children’s Room may request that they be retrieved by a staff member.

Inter-Library loan is now available, though we ask that you allow additional time for delivery.

Those patrons who would prefer to not enter the building, may still use our Library Take-Out service.

Thursday Friday, and Saturday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
