Election Information
A special election for the 1st Middlesex District State Senate seat left open by the unexpected passing of former State Senator Ed Kennedy will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2026. The Library will be a polling place for Dracut precincts 4 and 8. Precincts 1, 5, and 6A will vote at the Senior Center at 951 Mammoth Road. All others will vote at Richardson Middle School at the school complex at 1570 Lakeview Ave. If you’re not sure which precinct you live in, check out this map and street list. More information about this election, including a sample ballot, can be found on the Town of Dracut website.
The Library will remain open for our usual services while residents are voting in the Meeting Room.
The Voter Registration Deadline for this election is Saturday, February 21 at 5pm. Vote-by-mail applications are due by Tuesday, February 24 at 5pm.
