Circulation Policies for Museum Discount Passes

In addition to reserving Museum Passes over the phone or in person, Dracut Library card holders can now reserve passes online by clicking the Reserve a Museum Pass Online icon located in the upper right-hand corner of this site.
Non-Dracut Friends of the Dracut Library and those with outstanding fines greater than $2.00 will still need to reserve over the phone or in person at the library. |
- 1. Museum Passes are available to:
- 2. You must present the above-mentioned library card when you pick up the pass. In addition, to reserve a pass over the phone, you must provide your library card number at the time of the call..
- 3. Patrons reserving passes must be 18 years or older, and their cards must be free of fines and overdue items.
- 4. Families may reserve 1 pass a day and a total of 4 passes in a 60-day period.
- 5. Museum passes may be reserved up to 60 days in advance.
- 6. A patron who has not picked up the pass by 10 a.m. will forfeit the reservation. The pass will then be checked out on a first come, first served basis. (Special arrangements can be made).
- 7. Please call the library (978-454-5474) if your plans change and you will not be picking up your pass. If you reserved your pass online, you can cancel up to 24 hours in advance, After than time, please call to cancel.
- 8. Returnable passes are due back by 9:15 am the next day the library is open. Passes may be returned in the bookdrop if the library is closed.
- 9. A $5.00 per day fine will be charged if the pass is returned later than 9:15 a.m. You will be charged $5.00 for every day the pass is late, including days the library is closed.
- 10. The patron is responsible for the replacement cost of lost passes.
