Dracut Library

Dracut Residents: Bring proof of residence such as a Driver's License.  New residents can bring a utility bill or cancelled mail with new address.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Younger children must be able to print their first and last names.

Residents of other towns in the MVLC: Please get a card at your home town library and use it here. Click here for a list of towns in the MVLC.

Massachusetts Residents outside of MVLC: Please bring your home town library card and identification.

Out-of-state Residents: You may purchase a card for $25.00 paid annually in order to use the Dracut Library. This does NOT include inter-library loans from other libraries in Massachusetts or the use of other Massachusetts libraries. An out-of-state card with inter-library consortium privileges is $75.00 a year.

*Please note: Library cards can NOT be issued within 15 minutes of closing. You MUST present your library card in order to check out materials and the card must be free of overdues and fines.

**Replacement Charges: The first card is free. The charge for each replacement card is $3.00.

Boston Public Library eCard

What is an "eCard"? BPL eCards are virtual library cards that allow users immediate remote access to all of the Boston Public Library's electronic resources, including magazine databases, downloadable audio, video and music.

Who is eligible for an "eCard"? Anyone individual who lives, works, attends school, or owns property in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is at least 13 years of age may register for an eCard. (Corporations, institutions, or other libraries may register for an institutional card by visiting one of our locations.)
